The History of Morgan Dual Controls

Dale Morgan, my father-in-law, became an Arkansas Rural Letter Carrier in 1994. Finding that it was difficult to deliver mail while trying to steer sitting in the right seat, he built his own right-hand drive in his personal vehicle which made his job much easier and saved extensive wear and tear on his body. Later that year and after several other rural letter carriers asked him to install right-hand drives in their vehicles, Dale founded Morgan Dual Controls.  

Over the years Dale also installed right-hand drives for driving instructors and driving schools.  He worked very hard to make Morgan Dual Controls a nationally known and respected company serving over 22 states.  He was active in regional and state associations and served as a Delegate to the National Rural Letter Carrier Conference for 20 years.  Dale retired from the Post Office in 2004, but remained active in the association and continued installing right-hand drives. Sadly, he passed away in June 2016.  

Several years ago Dale asked me to come and work with him, which I gladly did so. He stressed the importance of always putting our customers first and to ensure their satisfaction - especially Rural Letter Carriers since they spend many hours in their vehicles. Needless to say, he taught me well.
